Gavin | Senior Session

I know Gavin from our church and, more specifically, from being in the worship band with him.  He is a very talented musician and vocalist and will be studying vocal performance at Radford in the fall.  He has a great sense of humor and is incredibly creative!  I met Gavin and his mom Robin (who I adore!) at Silver Lake Park in Haymarket, shortly before graduation.  We laughed the entire time!  I think you'll see Gavin's great personality in these photos.

Did I mention that Gavin is also very talented actor?  Totally appropriate that he showed his theater skills in the middle of the session.  I just mentioned YMCA when he struck the first pose and he pulled this out... :)

The Daniels | Family Session

I met the Daniels family at Silver Lake Park in Haymarket and immediately knew it was going to be a great session!  The boys were so happy and energetic and mom and dad weren't afraid to have fun with them! I love it when parents can relax and just enjoy the time, allowing the kids to be themselves.  Trust me, stressing about getting your kids to sit and pose is no fun and the photos end up looking canned or everyone ends up in tears!  (I've been there...done that!)  So it was so great to see this family just enjoying one another, interacting and being themselves.  Here are some of my favorites from the time we spent together...

The Heers | Old Town Manassas Family Session

Dandelion Wishes | Family Session

I met the Barnes family at Silver Lake in Haymarket for a family session.  They are such a sweet family with incredibly happy and lively kids!  We had fun walking through the park, enjoying the beautiful evening.  I'm certain a lot of wishes were made that night, since the grass was covered in white fluffy dandelions!

I just loved that they brought their sweet dog, Norman along!  He has been a part of their family since the beginning!
