Caleb

Caleb's family is so sweet.  They were friends with my parents in Arizona and we had the privilege of meeting them when they moved to Virginia.  I was so excited when Kit asked me to do photos of Caleb in celebration of his 2nd birthday.  Caleb is completely adorable and just as sweet as he is cute! We met on a very cold morning and I was a little worried he wouldn't be comfortable enough to be himself.  I was wrong!  It took a little while for him to warm up (no pun intended) to me, but it ended up being such a fun session!

The Jachimskis | Fall Family Session

The weather can be a tricky part of being a natural light photographer!  The weekend of this session, I had 4 families waiting to be photographed and there was a hurricane in the forecast.  Yikes!  With a little switching around and rescheduling, I was able to photograph everyone before Sandy hit land.  I'm so thankful we had warm temps (and even a smidge of sunshine) for my session with the Jachimskis!  We had a lot of fun and we were able to snap a few photos announcing that a new family member is on the way.  Congrats to you guys!  I'll see you in April!  :)

The Hustons | Fall Family Session

I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous family on one of the most colorful weekends we had this fall.  It was so much fun watching the curiosity of precious little Gianna as we explored Silver Lake Park.  Stephanie and Kelly were a great example of being relaxed during a photo session with a toddler!  Instead of stressing, we just let Gianna call the shots and enjoy herself and we took photos along the way!  It made for a great morning and a lot of sweet smiles!

The Boones | Fall Family Session

I've been blessed to photograph this family for the last 3 years.  They are such a loving and gentle crew!  This year they had grown by one and it was so special photographing them as a family of 5.  All three boys are just adorable.  Thanks for trusting me with your photos again, Paul and Tiffany!  So thankful to have you as clients. :)
