I feel a very special connection to the Simpkins family. We met as they were transitioning out of their ministry at New Life and we were transitioning in. They helped us choose a home (we were miles away in Illinois) and guided us in the first few months of ministry here. We are thankful for their friendship and share so much in common, both of us raising 3 kids (of similar ages) and living the life of a ministry family. Their love for people and dedication to serving Jesus is obvious to anyone who spends time with them and it led them to church plant in Chapel Hill, NC. (If you are in the area, please check out Varsity Church!) I was so excited to take some photos of their family when they were in the area a few weeks ago!
