Amy & Danny | Poplar Springs Engagement Session

They met in elementary school but lost contact after he moved away.  A friend reintroduced them many years later and their love story began.  She is a teacher, he is a policeman and they are truly one of the very sweetest couples I've ever met.  They have genuinely kind spirits and love to laugh with one another.  I can't wait to capture their love on their September wedding day!

We met at Poplar Springs on a chilly and cloudy February day for their engagement photos.  I had so much fun getting to know them and watching them interact.  It was incredibly hard to narrow down my favorites, so excuse me while I share twice as many photos as usual. :)

Amy and Danny, thank you for enduring the cold weather and making your engagement session so fun!  I absolutely can't wait to celebrate with you in September!

Gabriel | His first year!

I am finally finishing blog posts from 2012!  This means over the next two weeks, I should be able to get completely caught up.  (Will you hold me accountable to that? :)  What better way to end 2012 posts than to feature a little guy who I photographed throughout the entire year?  Gabriel is my buddy.  To meet him is to love him!  I photographed his family at their home right before Christmas and then captured his first birthday party in February.  I decided to share photos from both sessions on this post.  It's so fun to see how much he grew  in just 2 months!

Joshua | newborn session

And you might remember his big sister, Audrey.  She's been on the blog several times before!

 I had so much fun playing with Audrey and snapping photos of her while baby brother had a mid-session snack. :)

I've photographed this family many times (they were some of my very first clients and are definitely some of my most faithful), but this was my first time doing a session at their house.  It was so fun to capture them in the comfort of their home and to meet their newest addition.  Looking forward to our next session together!
