I got on this strange "Hoarders" kick that lasted about a week. I was watching it on Netflix whenever I had a spare moment--while I folded laundry, during dinner prep, before bed. The show intrigues me, but also makes me very sad. I found myself getting really emotional, thinking about the pain these people have gone through that brought them to such sad places. I also became incredibly motivated to organize! It was quite coincidental that in the midst of this kick, I had a photo session scheduled with Maria, who is a personal organizer. Before we met, I didn't realize that she actually works with hoarders! In fact, as a personal organizer, she can help people with problems as small as a junk drawer, or as large as a house full of stuff! Maria needed some professional shots for her business. We met in Old Town Manassas and I had an absolute blast getting to know her. She brought her friend and Mary Kay consultant along, and they kept us laughing the entire time!
