Maria :: Conquer the Clutter | Professional Shots
I got on this strange "Hoarders" kick that lasted about a week. I was watching it on Netflix whenever I had a spare moment--while I folded laundry, during dinner prep, before bed. The show intrigues me, but also makes me very sad. I found myself getting really emotional, thinking about the pain these people have gone through that brought them to such sad places. I also became incredibly motivated to organize! It was quite coincidental that in the midst of this kick, I had a photo session scheduled with Maria, who is a personal organizer. Before we met, I didn't realize that she actually works with hoarders! In fact, as a personal organizer, she can help people with problems as small as a junk drawer, or as large as a house full of stuff! Maria needed some professional shots for her business. We met in Old Town Manassas and I had an absolute blast getting to know her. She brought her friend and Mary Kay consultant along, and they kept us laughing the entire time! Here are some of my favorites from our time together.
If you, or someone you know, needs a personal organizer, be sure to contact Maria! You can find her at Conquer the Clutter. Thanks for trusting me with your photos, Maria. It was so much fun meeting you! (And don't worry, folks, my Hoarders obsession is over!)
Alyssa :: 6 months old | Baby's 1st Year Session
This blog is long overdue (as you can see by the Christmas picture included)! I've had the honor of photographing Alyssa, while she was still snuggled in her momma's tummy and very soon after she entered the world. This was her 6 month session and it was an absolute blast! This girl knows how to act in front of a camera! She's absolutely beautiful and loves to snuggle. What a doll! Here are a few of my favorites from my time with her.
Before she left, my Avary had to sneak in a picture with her! :)
So glad we got to spend some time with you, sweet girl! Soon we'll be taking your 1 year pictures. Oh how time flies!

Bonos | Family Session
I was excited when Kim contacted me about a family session. I had photographed their sweet littlest girl when she was brand new, so I was anxious to see how she and her sweet big sister had grown! We were blessed with a beautiful and unusually warm winter day at Silver Lake Park, in Haymarket. Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
Thanks, Bono family! I had fun getting to know you better and watching your fun-loving and free spirited girls! I wish you all the best and hope to see you again soon. :)
